Dispatcher We have an immediate opening for a FT DISPATCHER for our Division of Transportation (DOT). The hours are split-shift days Monday—Friday, with some weekends. The Dispatcher schedules drivers to ensure adequate coverage of all bus routes, responds to inquiries about DOT services, and performs general office duties. In cases of staffing shortages, the Dispatcher may also perform the duties of a spare driver. The qualified candidate will have at least 1 year of dispatching or commercial driving experience; thorough knowledge of Jackson County and the KC Metro area; a CDL with a clean driving record; and strong front-office and computer skills. This position requires considerable professionalism and organizational skills. Salary will be based on experience
Deputy Director Developmental Disability Services of Jackson County - EITAS has an immediate opening for a Deputy Director with compassion and vision to lead an inspired team in serving individuals with developmental disabilities in Jackson County.
The Deputy Director will supervise all service and program-related activities for targeted case management, quality assurance, HIPAA, eligibility services, and training. The Deputy Director will also work to enhance services by developing a team approach with a professional staff of social workers, administrative professionals, service providers, community advocates, and governmental oversight entities. Ultimately, the Deputy Director will support the Executive Director in meeting the mission and vision of EITAS and its Board of Directors.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of direct experience working in the developmental disability field with at least three years of demonstrated progressive developmental disability supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of and experience with Missouri regulations, statute and standards regarding developmental disability services. Strong advocacy skills and experience in direct provision and supervision of targeted case management preferred. In addition, the position requires a Bachelor's degree in social work, special education, human services, psychology, or related field or equivalent; a Master's degree is preferred.
Service Coordination Supervisor EITAS is seeking a supervisor in our Service Coordination/Case Management department. The individual selected will supervise a team of up to 10 service coordinators and help ensure a high quality, integrated approach to service coordination for persons with developmental disabilities served within EITAS. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Special Education or closely related field (Master's degree preferred); 4 + years experience in providing Service Coordination for persons with developmental disabilities; 3+ years supervisory experience with at least 2 years of experience directly supervising service coordination; knowledge of Medicaid billing and Targeted Case Management services as defined by Medicaid; and familiarity with the principles of person centered planning and implementation. A comparable combination of education and supervisory training will be considered in lieu of actual supervisory experience.
Payroll/Billing Specialist EITAS is seeking a full-time accountant to process payroll and prepare the corresponding taxes and reports; process Medicaid billing; and handle other accounting duties as our department grows. The qualified candidate will have at least two years of current payroll processing experience; a bachelor's degree in accounting or payroll certification is a definite plus. Must have strong technical and problem-solving skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with Great Plains is also a plus.
Service Coordinator EITAS is seeking FT Service Coordinators to provide case management services within a person-centered support and planning framework and develop person-centered plans for persons with developmental disabilities. The position requires at minimum a bachelor's in social work, special ed, human svcs., psych. or a related field and one year of service coordination or targeted case management experience. Experience supporting persons with a developmental disability is preferred.
Driver We are currently accepting applications for experienced drivers to transport adults with developmental disabilities. Hours are similar to school bus drivers, but we run YEAR- ROUND! Qualified applicants will have HS Diploma/ GED; CDL, good driving record and previous commercial driving experience. We offer $11.22/hr to start. Pre-employment Drug Screen Required.
