Services provided to business owners and employees include education about the legal rights of individuals with disabilities who are accompanied by an assistance dog through presentations with informative handouts and multimedia.  Services provided to self advocates and their families including education about their rights as an assistance dog team and how to address individuals who question those rights, and information and referral services regarding organizations who train high quality assistance dogs that are accredited using the standards set forth by Assistance Dogs International.  Services provided for State employees include education on the benefits of assistance dogs and federal laws pertaining to assistance dogs.

Offers two programs:  1) Telecommunications Access Program for Telephone (TAP) program, which furnishes free adaptive telephone equipment to assist individuals with disabilities access basic home telecommunication services.  Phones are available for individuals with mobility disabilities, individuals who can hear but cannot speak, individuals who have difficulty dialing or remembering phone numbers, and individuals with intellectual disabilities; and 2) Accessibility Compliance, which provides education, outreach, and enforcement to increase community awareness and assist with information and recommendations regarding accessibility features and designs by giving community presentations to individuals with disabilities, management companies, developers, architects, and builders, conducting accessibility site surveys and provide suggestions for bringing areas of concern into compliance, and training volunteers on how to conduct access studies resulting in improved accessibility within our community.
