The mission of Blue Valley Industries is to provide employment, training, and access to support services for adults with disabilities, while enhancing their dignity, encouraging independence, maximizing opportunities, and fostering community integration. There is currently atleast a one to two year wait on their waitlist. The minimum age that they can accept individuals into their program is 18 years old, due to their insurance limitations.

JVS serves individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health disabilities, and physical disabilities. They have tasks in the workshop such as labeling, collating, shrink-wrapping, packing, and assembly. They also have a retail store that they use to produce revenue, while providing their employees in the workshop the opportunity to work in an environment that allows interaction with the community. Employees work in the store doing stocking, making displays, pricing, and some operate the cash register, while still having the support that they need in the workshop.
